ABOUT SHEC

SHEC was created in 2015 by a group of UC Davis medical students who found the lack of educational resources available in Stockton and the surrounding areas for high school and junior college students alarming, and understood the need for change and to provide much needed resources and the network to succeed. The conference aims to empower, motivate, and provide information about health professions to students from disadvantaged backgrounds where their families envision their success, but may not know how to help.
